People who do not do any physical activity really need to watch their carbohydrate intake because excess carbohydrates will be stored as fat. The big reason is they really don't have much of a gas tank (muscle) to put the fuel in and chances are the gas tank is already full because it's not being used on top of that there's not enough doors (insulin receptors) open to let it in the muscle anyways. (Get the point? you should exercise) Also being skinny fat or underweight and not eating enough will break down valuable muscle, slow your metabolism and pre age you. Here is a list of carbohydrates per meal and per snack for different body compositions. On this chart I suggest 3 meals a day and 2 snacks.
